What to Know as a First Time Visitor:
Worship times:
• Sunday morning 10 am (English language)
• Sunday morning 11:30 am (Spanish language)
Also on our campus: Unity Vietnamese Church,
• Sunday afternoon 2:30 pm (Vietnamese language)
Worship is in our Sanctuary building, with the peaked roof located next to Westminster Blvd
• Parking: The parking lot can be found along Cedarwood Ave. From the parking lot, walk through the gate and through our campus to the Sanctuary. Most people find the ramp entrance convenient. Signs will be in place to direct you.
• What to wear: Wear whatever you are comfortable going to church in. Some people prefer to dress up a little bit, others come more casually. You will be welcomed.
• Coffee: Along the way going in or out you will find our coffee and snack area, or if weather is an issue, the coffee set up will be inside the large central building you will pass, which we call the Worship Center or Boyd Hall.
• Ushers: The ushers in the lobby of the church will provide you with a bulletin, can check in children for our kids’ Sunday School, and can help answer questions for you.
• Children:
Infants and very young children: There are several areas that can be used for diaper changes - any restroom in the Sanctuary, as well as in the nursery, which is available for parents to use. The nursery also has rockers and toys.
School aged children: During the opening worship music time, children are encouraged to participate. Then they will be invited to the front to be prayed over and can follow the Sunday School teachers to the class (most Sundays). Parents can pick up their children from the class after the service. The Sunday School classroom is located near the coffee service. Parents can also keep their children with them or accompany them to the class.
Playground: The playground is on the West side of campus, behind the large central building.
• First Sundays of the Month are Family Worship: On these days, and a few other special days during the year, our English and Spanish language groups worship and have Communion together. After the children are prayed over they will return to sit with their family. Children’s bulletins and crayons are provided on those days.
